Sugar Cookies
I made these yesterday for our neighbors for Valentines. They were delicious! Thank goodness we gave most of them away. I might have to go have another one. :) These are soft and delightful.
In a bowl add:
3 C. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 C. sugar
Dash of salt
Whisk together.
Soften in the microwave with a paper towel over:
1/2 C. butter
1/2 C. cream cheese
Add to flour mixture.
Then add:
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
Mix together until it forms a solid ball.
Roll out with a rolling pin on a powdered sugared surface.
Cut out with a lid of the spray oil, a cup, or use your favorite cookie cutters.
Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
Frosting:
2 C. powdered sugar
1/4 C. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. raspberry or cherry extract
1 Tbsp. milk
2 Tbsp. corn syrup
A few drops of food coloring
Sprinkles:
Mix sugar with food coloring.

If you want to put a Hershey kiss in the middle, frost immediately and press kiss in the middle of each cookie. Let cool.
You can also press some of your favorite candies on top.
