This is one of my husband's favorites.
1 1b. Raw ground beef
1/2 C. onions, diced
1 clove of garlic, diced
2 Tbsp. flour
2 C. milk
1 (15 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1/2 tsp. Black pepper
In a skillet on the stove brown ground beef. Drain until there is 2 Tbsp grease still left in the pan with the meat. Add onions, garlic, and flour. Mix with a wooden spoon until flour isn't visible. Add milk and soup. Stir. Sprinkle black pepper in. Cook for about 5-10 minutes or until thick and bubbly.
Best served over egg noodles or baked potatoes.
