Mom's Breadsticks

My mom would make these for us kids a lot growing up. They are so tasty!

Dough:
1/4 C. warm water
1 Tbsp. dry yeast
2-3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. powdered milk
1 tsp. salt
2 C. warm water
Flour (Enough to make the dough form into a workable ball)
1 Cube butter
Garlic Salt, just a sprinkle
Parsley
Parmesan cheese

Dissolve yeast into 1/4 C. warm water. Add brown sugar, powdered milk, salt, 2 C. warm water, and flour. Mix and knead until flour is well incorporated. Let rest. Pinch off a piece, about the size of a golf ball. Roll between hands like a snake. Place in pre-greased 9X13 inch pan. Melt butter. Spoon over bread sticks. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, parsley, and garlic salt. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. About 20-25 minutes.

I hope this is right mom.

I changed it up a bit by doing the twisted ones. They were more of a crispy consistency. I did cut down on the butter a bit too. And instead of parsley, I used Italian Seasoning.
