Orange Apricot Pork Chops (or Chicken)

For this recipe you will need:

6-8 pork chops (or 1-1/2 to 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken)
1 cup apricot jam
3 Tbsp. Brown sugar
1 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves, ground
11-ounce can mandarin oranges, undrained

Place meat in crockpot.  Mix all other ingredients and pour over meat.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.  Serve with rice.
